Solar Rooftop Project

TANACHIRA Group continues to promote the use of renewable energy to enhance energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support the transition toward a low-carbon business model under its Climate Action and Green Operations initiatives.
In 2026, the Company installed a Solar Rooftop system at the warehouse of HARNN Global Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tanachira Group. The system is an on-grid solar power system with an installed capacity of 12.240 kilowatt-peak (kWp).
Based on the warehouse’s electricity consumption in 2025, which was approximately 45,830 kilowatt-hours per year (kWh/year), the Solar Rooftop system is expected to generate approximately 18,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, equivalent to approximately 39.27% of the building’s total electricity consumption. This will help reduce reliance on electricity from the grid and enhance the organization’s overall energy efficiency.
Expected Impacts
Financial Impact
The project is expected to reduce electricity costs by approximately THB 144,000 per year, based on the amount of electricity generated by the system and used to offset electricity purchased from the grid, assuming an average electricity tariff of approximately THB 8 per kilowatt-hour. Actual savings may vary depending on the system’s electricity generation and electricity tariffs during different periods.
Environmental Impact
The Company expects the project to reduce indirect greenhouse gas emissions from purchased electricity (Scope 2) by approximately 9 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO2e/year). This contributes to the Company’s greenhouse gas reduction efforts and supports its transition toward a low-carbon business.
The Solar Rooftop Project demonstrates Tanachira Group’s commitment to integrating Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into its business operations. The initiative aims to balance operational efficiency, cost management, and environmental responsibility while creating long-term value for stakeholders and supporting the organization’s sustainable growth.
