"The Business of Fashion: Beyond the Design Studio"
Tanachira Retail Corporation Public Company Limited, in collaboration with Rangsit University (RSU), launched the "Big Brother: Shared Knowledge People Development" project under the concept of empowering the next generation through real-world learning in the fashion and retail industry. The initiative focuses on bridging classroom knowledge with hands-on professional experience to better prepare students for quality entry into the workforce.
This session was held under the theme "The Business of Fashion: Beyond the Design Studio", designed to build a deeper understanding of the fashion business ecosystem from Fashion Business Models to Retail Operations while cultivating the commercial mindset essential for thriving in today's fashion industry.
The project also aims to upskill student awareness through knowledge exchange with industry professionals and to provide insight into career pathways within the fashion sector.
The session was honored to feature distinguished guest speakers from the fashion world, including Mr. Pongpipat Wichuladawut, Store Manager of United Arrows brand, alongside Lecturer Mr. Chanachai Chumpon, who shared practical perspectives and firsthand experience spanning the design process, brand management, and international retail operations.
The "Big Brother: Shared Knowledge People Development" project reflects TANACHIRA's commitment to supporting human capital development and creating meaningful learning opportunities for youth through collaboration between the private sector and academic institutions to foster the sustainable growth of the next generation of talent in the fashion and retail industry.
