Every Drop Matters: Saving Water Together for a Sustainable Future

Although Tanachira Group is not in a water-intensive industry in terms of its operations and business activities, the Company recognizes the importance of responsible resource use and is committed to fostering a corporate culture of resource conservation. Therefore, the Company has launched the “Every Drop Matters: Saving Water Together for a Sustainable Future” initiative to raise awareness, promote appropriate water use behaviors, and encourage practices that support business operations in line with the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) framework as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative consists of four key activities:

1. Water Saving Awareness through both internal and external communications, including awareness materials displayed in offices and retail stores, email communications, and other channels. The communications cover topics such as turning off taps properly after use, avoiding unnecessary water use, reporting water leaks immediately when detected, and practical ways to use water responsibly in daily life.
2. Routine Inspection and Leakage Monitoring in collaboration with the Building Management and Maintenance teams. This includes inspecting taps and sanitary fixtures for leaks, monitoring water consumption for any irregularities, following up on water-related maintenance requests and corrective actions, and encouraging the reporting of water-related issues through various communication channels.
3. Responsible Cleaning Practice by communicating with housekeeping teams and contractors on appropriate cleaning practices in offices and retail stores. This includes using an appropriate amount of water for cleaning, avoiding leaving water running during cleaning, selecting and installing water-saving devices, and promoting environmentally responsible cleaning practices.
4. Employee Engagement by organizing activities to build knowledge and understanding while encouraging environmentally responsible behaviors, with the aim of becoming a Green Office.

The Company expects that these activities will enhance awareness of water conservation and encourage environmentally responsible behaviors among all stakeholder groups. In addition, the Company plans to expand these activities and the initiative to its retail stores and other businesses within the Group.
